I got a new system which is Minisforum G7 PT. It has a R9 7945HX with a 7600M. This device is using the amdgpu. During initialization it does post some error during enumeration, but it is apparently fully functional. The APU is not populating. Neofetch shows the processor with Radeon Graphics and the family number. Are the 7945HX APU's supported yet? The Dragon Range 610M I believe they are called. Under lspci one would think it would populate near or around the

No idea what parameters you used with lspci, but the output is rather hard to read and looks shorter then I'd expect .
Please post the full output of lspci -knn

The boot log does show an admgpu device at 0000:03:00.0 which looks like it's a navi33 chipset, so that's probably the 7600M .

so your processor has been around for 16 months and linux has had atleast 7 kernel versions to add it.
I would be very surprised if it didn't support your processor fully.
Have you looked at firmware settings related to graphics ?
What firmware (bios) version are you using ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

As for the bios - Its America Megatrends. Under ACPI options I know according to reivews there is suppose to be a graphics option right under NBIO but on mine there is not. The reviewer said "Just disable your APU" - I just want to enable my APU and don't know if thats even an option... but it should be. Maybe the only way is to throw Microsoft Windows on there and see if AMD drivers can do that if they removed that option from the bios... Don't know yet though. I sent out a support request to minisforum as well.

I found that the easiest way to keep lspci output brief is to run it as user, not root.
The details not visible to normal user (like capabilities) are often only needed for troubleshooting a specific device and noise for general troubleshooting info .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
