Hello!
As advised by arch wiki, I have followed https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Wayland/Nvidia and ensured the required dependencies are installed
I have also confirmed modesetting is enabled and selected "Plasma(Wayland)" session in SDDM
However, KDE seems to continue using X11 anyways
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.10.3-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 15.0 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650/PCIe/SSE2
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fb0xxx
I happen to have an integrated GPU as well, but afaik, there isnt a way to select it manually without actually disabling the dGPU entirely
Please advise and thank you very much!

Did you add nvidia_drm.modeset=1 as kernel parameter to prevent issues with the simpledrm device ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

To double check, are you selecting a KDE Wayland session from the menu on the login screen? There should be an entry for KDE X11 and KDE Wayland after installing the KDE wayland requirements.

Please post the outputs of
$ eglinfo -B
$ DRI_PRIME=1 eglinfo -B
from within the session
