Do thermald and power-profiles-daemon conflict?

Hello, the question is pretty much the title as I haven't really been able to find this out from the wiki or other resources. Both the wiki and project websites seem to suggest they can work together but as they both manage the processor P-states it seems to me that they would conflict.

A slight aside, any other tips for the current Meteor Lake intel processors? Is thermald still as good as it used to be or is another tool now better to have? I'm just wondering what the current state of these tools is in 2024.

Commenting to add that I also find some of the power saving options a bit ambiguous. I'd love to have a "this combination of tools works well together and will extend your laptop's battery life considerably" cheatsheet smile
