I was hoping to find a solution here but looks like no one has replied... Maybe we should consider changing browsers, I guess?

I don't honestly know man. I gave up on watching in Firefox. I installed another browser called Floorp and it works fine on that. It seems the issue is only with the drm plugin which cannot be resolved. Just change the browser.
