Genymotion not working in Hyprland

Hi guys, I recently started migrating from KDE to hyprland, got most stuff sorted out, but one thing I haven't been able to solve is my Genymotion VM not booting, tried setting QT_QPA_PLATFORM to "wayland;xcb" so that it would fallback to xwayland, and now genymotion itself loads, and i can go as far as the loading device splash screen, but the it just crashes. Tried to look at the logs, don't seem too helpful since they show no error other than a warning

[warning] QObject::connect(QQuickWindow, MapView_QMLTYPE_167_QML_197): invalid nullptr parameter

I'm running out of options, if anyone knows what could be happening or is able to help I'd really appreciate it.

Some warning about bogus QML (sigh) doesn't tell much and is likely not even the cause, might be an indicator but might also be entirely unrelated.
