Fprint works with gdm & gnome lock screen but not with polkit

Here's the issue:

My fingerprint sensor works perfectly fine, but whenever I try to authenticate via gnome polkit, it refuses to authenticate my fingerprint. I've set it up through gnome settings and it works fine during login in gdm and lock screen. I have already gone through the troubleshooting section of https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Fprint but that didn't help Please help me fix this issue.

My /etc/pam.d/polkit-1 contains:
