Performing an update this morning, I got the following warning:
:: installing libcpuid (0.7.0-1) breaks dependency 'libcpuid.so=16-64' required by nix
I uninstalled nix, and successfully updated my system with pacman -Syu.
Attempting to reinstall nix, I get the warning:
warning: cannot resolve "libcpuid.so=16-64", a dependency of "nix"
I went ahead and ran reflector to update mirrors in case there was an issue with Arch mirrors being out of sync. However, the same problem persists. Is this an error on my end or a packaging bug or something else?

Looks like nix needs to be rebuild against latest cpuid.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
