When i do "gamemoderun steam" i get this error:
gamemodeauto:
dbus[4526]: arguments to dbus_pending_call_block() were incorrect, assertion "pending != NULL" failed in file dbus-pending-call.c line 766.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
The output of "gamemode -t" is this:

So i think that it is an proplem with steam but as its not officialy supported i cant use steam support.

Are you using steam from the repos or flatpak? FWIW "normally" you'd want to run gamemode per and with a specific game instead of the entire steam client

Im using steam from the repos and if i put "gamemoderun %command%" it doesn't improve the performance of any of my steam games but when i run minecraft with gamemode my fps increases about 10%

Which might well be entirely normal. Whether these improvements will have any effect strongly depend on what the actual game is and where your actual perf issue lies. since gamemoderun primarily affects CPU scheduling, it will only really help in CPU constrained games and not going to do much if your GPU is the bottleneck.

Ive got rx570 and Intel Celeron G3930 (2) @ 2.900GHz so my cpu is the bottle neck for pretty much every game yet gamemode does not make a difference (i have not manually optimized my cpu) so i expected there to be a noticeable increase in performance with gamemode enabled.
Could this error have anything to do with me not seeing a difference in performance?:
