When I press the login button I'm able to authenticate via the browser but I then have to click the login button again for it to display the "Go to your browser to log in". It then doesn't go past the login screen even though I'm already authenticated. What could be the issue?

How did you install spotify?

I tried via both pacman and AUR

I would recommended sticking with the AUR package. Do you get the same error running the AUR package? Are you running Wayland?

I'm running Wayland and get the same error with the AUR package.

I also get the same behaviour when installing the flatpak version. When I authenticate via the browser the app doesn't go past the login screen and says that a firewall may be blocking it even though I have none configured. It gives error 34:acesspoint
