archlinux wallpaper with "original logo"

Romashka asked for some artwork with the original logo. Here are some suggestions, my personal favorite is the last one. What do you think?

The second in the right column feels a bit empty and I can't say I like the ones with the black color too much. Others are nice. Also, last one in the left column would make a nice gensplash (no?).

Then #9 is my favourite!
IMHO our official "Arch Linux" text is not so stylish as that on #9.

Ehm, why all titles have no space between Arch and Linux? (even current official one). :?
The correct name of our distro is "Arch Linux", not "Archlinux" or "ArchLinux".

why dont you just make them all at higher resolutions and scale them down? The result is just the same.

You should be able to edit the poll by editing the first post - I'm not sure if this is fixed, but if you can't do it, let me know and I will (for some reason, i think you need admin rights to futz with a poll)

No, its not the same, cause I wanted the size in pixel of the logo, text and arches to stay the same for all resolutions (hmmm...is the grammar fine?). This wont work if you just scale it down, you could crop the border, but then you would loose a part of the gradient. Additionally you have to take care of the widescreen and 5:4 resolutions.

Damn...this render the vote useless...could any admin please help adding option 9 and 10 to the poll and restart it? I would like to have a clear winner, cause creating a complete theme (grub, bootsplash, gnomesplash, wallpaper, gdm, ...) is a lot of work

Heh, it's clearly visible that #9 will have the most of votes.

freigeist, could you pleeeease add a small space between "Arch" and "Linux" to make them look as separate words (you may do this after the winner will be chosen).

This logo is nice, but reminds me something.
And IMHO it's not better than "A" symbol, just another nice logo.
But that's just my opinion.
