i follow these passage, but after enable multilib in pacman.conf, the system do nothing during the update. I trying to install steam package

Enabling the repository doesn't install any packages, it only allows installing the packages.
Run `pacman -Sl multilib` to list all packages in the multilib repository.

Then upgrade the system and install the desired multilib packages.
I bet you did not do that.
