[TP-LINK] External USB Wi-Fi Adapter Not Working on Axioo Notebook

I have an Axioo notebook that has been disassembled (it has no connected monitor, sound device, or touchpad).

The Axioo notebook
*The picture was taken before the external Wi-Fi adapter was plugged.

The Ethernet connection works fine, but the internal Wi-Fi card seems to be malfunctioning (it appears as blocked by hardware in the rfkill list).

Use "nmcli device show" to get complete information about known devices and
"nmcli connection show" to get an overview on active connection profiles.

Consult nmcli(1) and nmcli-examples(7) manual pages for complete usage details.

The CMOS battery also seems to be accidentally damaged while dismantle it, but I don’t think it’s a major issue (it only show that the date will be inaccurate).

I have connected to my notebook through ssh and can post hardware details on linux-hardware.org (included dmesg log) and also the journalctl log.

My question is: Why is my external USB Wi-Fi adapter not working on this machine? Other devices, such as a USB wireless mini-keyboard, work fine, so I don’t think the USB port is the issue. As indicated in the dmesg log, the firmware loads without any problem, and both rfkill list and nmcli commands show that the external Wi-Fi is enabled. However, the network interface still appears as unmanaged and has the sw disabled property.

Re: [TP-LINK] External USB Wi-Fi Adapter Not Working on Axioo Notebook

aside from the main issue, I'm curious why when I plug the USB wireless keyboard dongle, the firmware says:

rtl8xxxu: probe of 1-8:1.0 failed with error -11

It's not a major problem—replugging the keyboard dongle usually fixes it.
