Hi,
I have tried the "-latest" variant iso to boot from a USB stick, but it gets stuck at "Waiting for kernel to free RAM...". I have reproduced it for multiple times.
(I would like to try the other variants but unfortunately at least the one without a suffix doesn't boot at all here...)

Then it thinks it's not enough memory installed, how much RAM is available on this machine?

4 GiB on Intel Celeron J4125. I have re-written the un-suffixed version and it works fine this time. I'll try the -latest one again next time

Does the 2024-09 ISO include archinstall in version 2.8.3?
Offline
No archinstall needs python and no python is installed by default.
https://archboot.com/#faq-known-issues-and-limitations
You can install it with pacman -Sy archinstall
Offline
The pkglist.x86.txt for the 2024-09 ISO (as linked in the Installation Guide) now lists archinstall in version 2.8.6 and python. Am I mistaken or missing something?

I think you refer to the archiso iso.
Archboot is here: https://archboot.com
