virt-manager fullscreen is bordered Window instead.

Hello!

My system is an up to date Arch with XFCE desktop running on an AMD 6900HS APU.
I am using virt-manager (with a VM running Arch/KDE inside).
(OpenGL for the VM is enabled using the integrated 680m graphics)

When I switch the VM to fullscreen using virt-manager's fullscreen button, then the VM's screen does not use the full display size, but it leaves a small border left, surrounding the screen on all four edges:

This leads to the image being scaled down just a tiny bit - which for itself isn't too problematic. But because of non smoothed integer scaling, texts become hard to read:

The greyish border around the VM's display is the standard frame that my desktop windows usually have (resembling an classic Windows 2000 theme).

But why is this border being display in fullscreen mode?  What could I do for fixing this?

Thanks for upcoming help! smile

Re: virt-manager fullscreen is bordered Window instead.

Try with a simple WM (without DE and compositing) , like openbox or twm .

Do they exhibit the same behaviour ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
