Not a display error, typically that error means the the application has trouble to distinguish if it is run under X or XWayland or wayland .

I saw this post was recent, and decided to make an account, I use anaconda for school and I am having the same issue with the same error.
qt-5 wayland and qt-6 wayland are installed, could this be a bug or is there a way to fix it?
I get this on both my desktop and laptop, this is what it spits out when I try to launch anaconda-navigator, it's basically the same as above.
I'm using xorg right now but it also does this in wayland, and I was using wayland earlier

A ddg search foir QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0) lead to an autodesk support article with that same error .
Combining that with with the outputs shown indicates it's not a wayland issue and also not unique to conda .
This smells like conda / autodesk are not using system libraries, but some version they provide that don't cooperate well with archlinux system libraries .
This matches the prompts starting which (base) which I think is the way conda uses to indicate the commands are executed inside of a conda session .
Try running anaconda-navigator outside of a conda session and post the output.

[i-am-user@archlinux ~]$ anaconda-navigator
bash: anaconda-navigator: command not found
This does not work because command:anaconda-navigator does not directly run on bash we have to initialize anaconda distribution (command: conda init) not every time though and then when we refresh the terminal then it opens in the base environment where we run the command anaconda-navigator.
well to get in/out from base environment I use conda config --set auto_activate_base true/false and this command run finely in without base environment
Previously it was working properly but after changing global theme it is not working more than that it is not possible to open login SDDM screen with plasma wayland session it always opens with plasma X11 session this is the difference I have seen this far

I think I should also mention that I am not using the AUR for anaconda.
I followed anaconda's instructions for installation since the AUR version would hang during installation.
I found a way to access spyder, which is what I needed to use for class, so I don't need to worry about it right now.
I also get the same error launching spyder through conda, instead of going through anaconda-navigator.
I thought I should mention that you can install spyder through pacman, just in case you also needed to use it.
I don't get the error launching the pacman version standalone.

For now I have found a way to get anaconda-navigator working
This was some GL Library error associated with Qt mainly

the above "/home/i-am-user/home/" is actually "/home/i-am-user/anaconda3/" by default. Thanks! for the help.

well to get in/out from base environment I use conda config --set auto_activate_base true/false and this command run finely in without base environment
That exactly matches with conda using their own qt libraries that clash with system libraries .
It's part of the reason why arch wiki recommends to disable auto_activate_base as default setting .
I followed anaconda's instructions for installation since the AUR version would hang during installation.
You did notice that https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Conda#miniforge lists an alternative for aur installation ?
