beeping is back on arch...

august arch iso was great, when i was pressing tab, navigating through TUI menus, deleting stuff, etc it wouldn't beep so loud so that my entire neighborhood knows that i am installing arch
now (september iso) it is back (why back? because i already had this issue in the previous iso versions like july and june ones)
PLEASE FIX THIS YOU ALREADY GOT IT BUT YOU HAD TO RUIN IT THIS MONTH!!!

"module_blacklist=pcspkr", https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … and_line_2

The more interesting question is, are you re-installing arch every month???

It's already fixed, not having it would have been a bug.

Re: beeping is back on arch...

Or once booted `rmmod pcspkr`. It is extremely annoying, and removing / blacklisting that module is the very first thing I do in every system I use.  But being on is the default and should continue to be so.

Of course if you really never ever want to hear that sound regardless of what you are booting into, just clip the wire to the speaker on your main board.
