Almost done with my first installation of Arch with Plasma KDE on my Asus Zenbook S 13 UM5302. To make the sound work I installed alsa, alsa-utils, pulseaudio. In order to have the audio widget in the system tray, I also downloaded plasma-na.
The small issue, two microphone are detected. One named Family 17h/19h HD Audio Controller Headphones Stereo Microphone and the other Family 17h/19h HD Audio Controller Digital Microphone. The first one is not working at all.
The second one is working perfectly fine. I can activate/deactivate with the keyboard shortcut. The LED red light is appearing when the microphone is mute, and disappear when the microphone is activated.
I would like to know why I do have microphone detected, I feel it is not clean, I would like to show on the system tray only one microhpone not both. I find it a little bit misleading.
