grub-xen-git outdated

I'm setting up xen on my machine. Even though there is the xen-grub script (20_xen-linux), it puts nothing into the grub.cfg-file when running grub-mkconfig. Ig that the grub-xen-git-package from aur, as supposed in guide, would in theory solve this problem, but this package is so outdated (as also visible under the comment in aur) that it is impossible to build with yay. What would be the best fix for that, since I actually didn't find any useful solutions.
