[solved][dwm] trouble using two monitors with dwm

Hello, I have recently migrated from i3 to dwm, and I am having trouble with using two monitors. With i3, I was able to move to a different monitor with modkey+(left or right)arrow, or move a specific window to another monitor, but I am not sure how to do that on dwm. I am aware that you can use modkey+j to move around, but I want to be able to move to my second monitor with only my keyboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

EDIT: I found a patch in dwm patches, and it helped me achieve the exact result I wanted. For those that are curious, the patch is https://dwm.suckless.org/patches/accessnthmonitor/
