I can't seem to find anyone with the same error I have:
Missing symbol {LanguageCode}! (SymbolTable::UnmappedSymbolSubstitution)

I followed the WOW wiki for installing patched Wine, and even added a couple of other dlls: riched20 and riched32 to the system32 directory.
I can't install from cd or if the cd is copied to the hard-drive. Either way, nothing. I've thoroughly read the comments at Winehq and there just isn't anything like this yet. I assume it's possible the Wine patches simply didn't install, but I don't know.

I'm having the exact same problem, and tried the same fixes. Nothing has worked so far. I'm using 0.9.28.

I did it during install. I've decided to copy mine over from a windows installation so now it works for me.
