Secure digital media device usb how to
With USB interface device connected and recognized, inserting a card enablesthe system/media display with the warning...permissions denied. (root).
What is necessary to have root permission to open the secure digital card?

Is your user in the storage group? Check with 'id' or 'groups'.

If it works for you then thats cool ... I like to be careful when messing around as root in case I remove something by mistake .. like / for example ;-)
