Model: NBD-WXX9
Kernel version: 6.10.10-arch1-1 (64-bit) (installed this yesterday)
Using kde plasma 6.1.5
Tried many fixes that either did fix the sound (no mic) or did nothing
Things I tried:
- Installing sof-firmware
- Installing some specific versions of sof-firmware
- Modifying /etc/modprobe.d/disable_dmic.conf (Did fix the sound, but internal microphone detects as unplugged)
- Installing pipewire-pulse/wireplumber/pulseaudio
If you need logs:
- journalctl: https://pastebin.com/raw/wm4jtLai
- alsamixer: https://pastebin.com/raw/Fhkkix5K
Currently sound in pavucontrol detects as dummy output, monitor of dummy output (mic)
Just in case: no, the sound isn't muted, I have seen this answer in a lot of posts, so I'll just mention this ahead of time
Thanks for any help!

Is this a recent change i.e. was it working before an upgrade? If so, could you see if installing a downgraded version of the kernel or booting linux-lts helps?

No, this laptop on arch never had sound without fixes and never had working microphone. I didn't upgrade, I installed this as a fresh new system
