I think this happened because I updated my system??
But anyways, KMix used to work on my system. I used to be able to have the KMix popup when I click on the sound icon in the system tray at the bottom left of the screen, like how you can open the popup when you click on the battery or the internet icon.
This is what it used to look like. I got this image from https://apps.kde.org/kmix/:
https://cdn.kde.org/screenshots/kmix/kmix.png
I don't know what happened, but now I cannot open it anymore. I can still use the sound fine, I can increase/decrease the volume and things still works fine. I just cannot launch KMix for some reason.
Even when I try to run `kmix` in the terminal, it does not return me anything. I don't even get an error or a confirmation or a loading screen or anything.
I tried to open KMix via the Application Launcher, but KMix showed up for around 2 seconds then it disappeared. No errors, again.
The only "error" I get is the one I found when I right click on the KMix icon in the system tray and click "Restore" option. Then the KMix screen showed up (not the one I usually see when I left-click the KMix icon in the system tray). Then when I click "Setting -> Audio Setup" I see this error:
The helper application is either not installed or not working.
kcmshell5 kcm_pulseaudio
I don't even know if this error is related to the fact that I cannot launch the KMix popup from the system tray and from the Application Launcher.
If you need any information, please let me know! I am still pretty new to Arch as I have only been using it for less than a month.

Are you sure you are not mixing up kmix and the plasma-pa applet?
