Systemd fails boot trying to initialize no longer existing partition

I migrated my Arch installation onto another drive and successfully got it to boot a couple of times. I removed the old drive as it was needed by a friend of mine, but when I went to boot afterward dracut-initqueue repeatedly tried to mount the removed drive, and eventually timed out saying "/dev/disk/by-uuid/... does not exist." I removed reference to the old drive in fstab and regenerated initramfs using dracut while chrooted into the drive, with the same result. Any help is appreciated.
