mate-session-manager 1.28.0-2
On startup of user in MATE, system raises a dialog titled "About Unknown" A large title "UNKNOWN" with a white bust icon.
There is a field "Username:" with my name as its value
There is a button "change Password"
This process name is `mate-about-me` and it is started by the `mate-session` process. The wiki description is "It allows one to change user password and set user avatar image (~/.face file)."
It is alarming but I can close it, ignore it. The system seems fine. No obvious errors or alarms in journal.
All well and good but why has this recently started cropping up? Is it saying there is an Unknown user? Or that my user configuration is broken?
It does not happen in other machines with the exact same configuration
Here is a snip from the lightdm.log that suggests where there error is.
A session is opened and then reopened?
