When I use any XWayland programs (for example, the Steam client), it keeps popping up until I allow it
Any ideas? Thank you.
EDIT: Sometimes it doesn't need that when I reboot the system, for some reason.

I don't use steam but get this problem with another app so am aware of it. Read the top reply here to get an understanding of what is happening. Unfortunately there is currently no solution. The open steam bug is here.

I had speculated on a transient hostname change but that's not the case - as bulletmark's links show, it's simply a condition of gnome/wayland you'll have to accept unless and until steam provides native wayland support or you switch to gnome/X11
