[SOLVED] How to figure out how much electric my laptop uses per day?

I have to increase my solar panels due to deficit in these darker months in the UK.

I am wondering how I can get a gauge of the electricity consumption of the laptop daily to figure out how much more solar I will require.

I already have acpi and it shows:

$ acpi -V
Battery 0: Charging, 24%, 01:19:36 until charged
Battery 0: design capacity 2728 mAh, last full capacity 2728 mAh = 100%

I am not sure if that is of much help though. Maybe get a rough idea of max capacity it would draw but is there a more accurate way to tell amps/watts per day it will be drawing? I keep the laptop plugged into the fuse block all the time so it is constantly drawing from the battery.

EDIT: powertop seems to do the trick.

You should spend a few bucks on something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=power+consumption+meter
