yelp crashes all the time [gnome 2.6]

yelp starts, but crashes in every HELP I choose to read.

doesn't say much. console says:

(yelp:5015): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libsmooth.so: undefined symbol: GTK_IS_COMBO

(gnome_segv:5017): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libsmooth.so: undefined symbol: GTK_IS_COMBO

(gnome_segv:5017): Gtk-WARNING **: Ignoring the separator setting

and here it crashes showing a dlgbox [where I can choose to inform the devs, restart or quit]

are you running an up to date system ?
i looked into it, it looks like it is an upstream bug.
please report the libsmooth errors to the gnome bugtracker.

and get strace and try this :

strace yelp

I did that already

and get strace and try this :
strace yelp

I also copy/paste the strace [all greek for me {and yep I'm from Greece} }
