I'm on a Lenovo Ideapad Y510
and this computer was able to run sims 4 when it was still running windows but deleted that.
I downloaded Sims through the steam store which was free. Also got a physical copy but disk player is broken. So lucky it's free. After updating it says opening but then after a while it started to say play. Every other game opens up with the command
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%In my terminal when Sims 4 is running it outputs

Removing process 3940 for gameID 1222670I tried switching to an Older version of Proton which was 6. Was able to launch the EA app it was loading but as soon as it is down it closes again. And it won't open anymore. Been reading around seems EA app the problem but not sure how to fix.
