[Solved] Question about Plymouth

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this but it is DE-ish.  I recently tried out Plymouth.  Everything works fine but when I turn on my computer first I have Grub, then the Acer Logo screen for a second, then the Plymouth splash runs, then I get the Acer logo screen again briefly before I'm in.  I'm wanting to not have the Acer logo screen appear at all.  I've been playing around with settings and can't seem to figure out how that's done.  It's not a super problem as is because I seem to remember KUbuntu did something similar when it booted but was just wondering if there's a way out of this?

Re: [Solved] Question about Plymouth

Look in the (uefi/bios) firmware settings, it often has an option to disable showing logo on boot.

Note that the logo is likely also on screen before grub starts, just not visible.
Many screens have a delay of several seconds between being powered on and showing anything .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: [Solved] Question about Plymouth

Thanks.  That sounds like it would work.  Hadn't considered the bios.  I still can't get 'uefi' into my vocabulary even though I know that's what I'm using now.  Only problem is I can't find that option.  I may see if I can update that.
