pc specs:
motherboard: asus tuf gaming a620m plus wifi
cpu: amd ryzen 9 7900x
gpu: radeon rx 7600 gaming oc 8gb
ram: Corsair Vengeance, 64GB, 5600MHz, DDR5, CL40
I tried to install arch with linux kernel but was getting errors, so I installed linux-lts and it worked.
kernel: 6.6.52-1-lts
Kernel driver in use: amdgpu
kernel modules: amdgpu
The gpu fan stop working when the system boots.
I have those packages installed: xf86-video-amdgpu, mesa, mesa-utils, vulkan-headers, vulkan-icd-loaders, vulkan-radeon, hip-runtime-amd. I started the installation only with mesa and xf86-video-amgpu installed, I then installed the rest to see if anything would change.
The pc was rebooting after a few minutes on. After I installed those other packages the system wasn't rebooting anymore, but now it's freezing. When I open firefox and restore a bunch of tabs and cycle through all of them the cpu fan get crazy, and the system eventually freezes and if when the system froze I was watching a video the video sound would be on a 1 sec loop. It's not exclusive to firefox, using other programs leads to the same result. Here's journalctl output when this happened: https://pastebin.com/Uvmm9Y9Q
If I try to install the linux kernel the system halts when building hooks. I tried changing by removing some hooks but it didn't work. Here's the journalctl output when I tried to install the linux kernel and linux-headers: https://pastebin.com/cbhvQxr1
Yesterday I had this kernel bug(linux-lts):

This is the first I'm posting here and I tried to follow the guidelines, but if I missed some information that I should've posted tell me that I'll update with it.

This could be a similar issue to what was reported in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=299923 .. Maybe you can have a lookt at the debugging steps provided there and see if anything works for you

pc specs:

cpu: amd ryzen 9 7900x
gpu: radeon rx 7600 gaming oc 8gb
ram: Corsair Vengeance, 64GB, 5600MHz, DDR5, CL40
that setup has a bad value - you burned your money on the wrong parts which could had gotten you better ones
is this a pre-built? or did you spec that stuff yourself?

Kinda both, got the motherboard from a friend and built around it the rest. What better parts could I've gotten?

as you asked:
- any desktop board with integrated wifi is marketing bullshit designed to melk money from unexperienced people - unless it's a mobile device there's no need for anything wireless
- unless you have a specific need for the cpu and ram it's just overkill = wasted money
- with the wasted money saved you could have gotten a better gpu - the 7600 non-XT is about as stupid as a nvid 3050: it's a bad value and just exist so amd and nvid can melk the last few pennies out of failed chips

I'm getting similar issues except kwin/plasma & fullscreen games & gamescope crash. Still uncertain as to whats causing and looking.
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Host: AtomMan G Series
Kernel: 6.12.1-273
DE: Plasma 6.2.4
WM: kwin
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX with Radeon Graphics (32) @ 5.461GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 7600/7600 XT/7600M XT/7600S/7700S / PRO W7600
Memory: 4566MiB / 64002MiB

What does this have to do with the issue? What is the purpose of this comment? Perhaps you could provide your expertise on the critique as well as provide insight into debugging the actual issue if you are as qualified as your present yourself with these statements.
But I won't hold my breath.

please look at #5: I started with "off-top" and wouldn't gave it another shot - but OP asked for it
in this very instance OP already had a board which to me just exists because of greed as it hits the marketing trap for inexperienced users
for what it sells there're plenty of other options which are better not just on paper but actually provide way better value
pairing such a stupid board with a top-end cou and that much ram is just wasting money and, if for gaming, would be better spent in a better gpu
the overall setup has some bad choices and a bad overall value in terms of performance one will be able to leverage
it's something one should only piece together if these are the parts you have around anyway - if you plan a new build from scratch you should avoid such a stupid config
also: if my off-topic intervention would had violated any "only reply if your reply is helpful" rule a mod would had mentioned it - in fact it's you who comes two months late to the party necrobumping this topic bringing a complete different setup along (mobile platform - also that kernel version looks odd - is this TKG?) and fronting me "oh your off-topic conversation isn't helpful" because you missed my very first line in thus topic introducibg myself off-topic to it
hold my beer - if you want to go that way I know this game better
