KDE login screen freezes for 40 seconds after screen goes off

I started seeing this a few weeks ago.

I am using my machine with no issues (X11), and then I leave for a few minutes. It goes back to the log-in screen automatically after a bit, and the screen goes off.

When I come back and I start typing my password, the whole login screen freezes for about ~40 seconds (the clock does not move to the next minute, the password field does not show up...). Then, it goes back to normal, the keystrokes I made while frozen have been registered and I can keep working normally.

It happens every time.

Here is journalctl from today's boot (the clock is two hours ahead and then corrects itself in line 2704). The attempt at re-logging in happens at 10:23:03

Re: KDE login screen freezes for 40 seconds after screen goes off

There's only one login, what you're seeing is most likely the screenlocker.
