showconsolefont error

When executing “showconsolefont”, I get the following error message

showconsolefont: ERROR kdfontop.c:92 get_font_kdfontop: ioctl(KDFONTOP): Das Argument ist ungültig

Is this error responsible for the larger font?
How can I fix this error?

Re: showconsolefont error

Edit: I have submitted this here
https://github.com/legionus/kbd/issues/ … 2402024620

Unfortunately, I still don't know why the font is displayed too large in the console...?

Re: showconsolefont error

"Large" means 80x25?
You're likely not running a framebuffer console which also explains that error message, see eg. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=298779

Why you're no I can't tell, it's typically a kernel parameter or bootloader setting or your GPU/driver is broken - there're a lot of problems surrounding the 6.11 kernel.
Do you get the same w/ the LTS one?

Re: showconsolefont error

Is the same with every kernel

However, I get the following displayed...

sudo dmesg | grep Console
[sudo] Passwort für andre:
[ 0.140466] Console: colour dummy device 80x25
[ 2.396957] Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 160x45
[ 3.001116] systemd[1]: Started Dispatch Password Requests to Console Directory Watch.
[ 5.307212] Console: switching to colour dummy device 80x25
[ 5.445162] Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 160x45

How can I set the console font?
