Unable to login after xkeyboard-config update

Hi

When running gnome/gdm x-11 mode after upgrading to xkeyboard-config to 2.43-1 I am not able to login.

each time that I login it rolls back to the login screen. This issue is on X11 only. Wayland does not  have this issue. The issue is resolve after downgrading to the prior version.

Is this because of a bug or a new feature that conflict with my setup?

What's your locale and do you have a journal of the failing login?
