Loading snd modules

I installed alsalib en utils. My kernel is 2.6.4 with alsa in it.

alsaconf has already been started and some stuff is placed in my /etc/modprobe.conf

alias snd-card-0 snd-ali5451
alias sound-slot-0 snd-ali5451

After that I followed the docs:

REGISTER sound/.* PERMISSIONS root.users 660
REGISTER snd/.*  PERMISSIONS root.users 660

After a restart still no sound

After I execute: modprobe snd-ali5451 the sound works. But how to do this automatic?
