Counter-strike 1.6 & wine problem

Hello all,i have problem..I run  "wine hl.exe" make change game, start cs...great map, and have error http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?imag … ma2pv1.jpg see?
pease help...i press download but game is off ... ;( see erroor

Maybe you just need to install Mozilla or Firefox. The Windows version, not the Linux version.

How to install gecko?

Installing of Wine Gecko
1. Download Wine Gecko (http://puzzle.dl.sourceforge.net/source … _gecko.cab)
2. Copy wine_gecko.cab to your .wine/drive_c/Program Files/
3. Extract wine_gecko.cab by cabextract (http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php)

After that you'll have Wine Gecko situated in .wine/drive_c/Program Files/wine_gecko/.
P.S. CS:Source now must runs greatly

You can install cabextract via

pacman -S cabextract

but having gecko not installed shouldn't cause the game to die.
Your second error "log" doesn't give any information about the reason why the game crashes.

I can`t press Ok ;( meybe i need isntal firefox.exe witch wine ?
any mind?

You defenitly don't need to install firefox.

Well... you may check wether you installed it properly? -> Linux Gamers: Steam HowTo

Juse the latest wine version you can get (the arch version works well).

You may try to run steam with another window manager. But I don't think that kde causes this problem.
