Re: AL screenshots (Archival, see other screenshots thread)

Hi guys,

as Rasat asked me, i will post some info about my Fluxbox screenshot. you can see it here:
http://stud.unileoben.ac.at/~m9935356/fluxbox.html
you can set up the trancparency in fluxbox-menu->Configure->Menu Alpha: mine is at 128. but you can mess around & see how you like it. also i am using the latest CVS, but i am sure 0.9.8 is fine too.
all my themes i downloaded at www.fluxmod.dk they have also nice wallpapers & lots of guides & how-to's. the name of my theme is called Seer. For the icons i am using different themes, Lime-Rade8,Sparkling. you can find them at www.kde-look.org or http://arts.gnome.org
i use idesk for putting the icons on the desktop.

have fun, Shemeta

Pretty simple...

Couldn't get iDesk to work with xfdesktop, it seems to go behind it instead of on top of it.

This is how XFce4 should look as per my liking. Also behave similar to Blackbox .... menu based with no icons exept for plugin and CD mounting.

self made vector graphic image for the background with a gradient under it.
Some gdesklets that i find usefull.

and most importantly, nice and clean.
(well except for the 2 files on the desktop. but the gentoo.txt i still need to put away somehwere. and CMS2.swx is kinda important smile )

BTW does anybody know how to change the color of taskbar items?

Re: AL screenshots (Archival, see other screenshots thread)

Can you install additional icon themes for the XFCE4-panel?
