It's the Bling module (incorporated). I'm not sure but I think AIGLX has to be activated in your xorg.conf to have transparency working.
It works without AIGLX, with just Composite. Not sure if it can take advantage of AIGLX but it does seem faster with AIGLX enabled.

Thanks :D:D

conky-updates.pl
Just place it in a folder of your choice in your home folder and edit conkyrc to point out where the conky-update.pl is. You also have to edit your conky-updates.pl too.

Besides you have to setup a cronjob that updates a file updates.log. As said in the thread where this scripts first came up, they're just modifications of vredfreak's scripts.
As said (last post in this thread) refer to vredfreak's README files:

Right! It's elinks modified like klapmuetz described here. The link to the hook changed
from http://edulinux.homeunix.org/
to http://starshine.org/xteddy/thomas/elinks/.
Thanks to klapmuetz for the hint!

Well, here's an screenshot of my desktop:
As all of you can see, i don't like specially playing with art-work, so, is very simple, and with default theme (plastik).
The below bar is for starting apps, and there is a few separation as "what they do":
- The first one, K botton ;-)
- the second group is for apps relating to the system
- The 3th, for net apps
- The 4th, multimedia apps
- Finally, files, clock and trash
The above bar, is for already running apps, or related things. I think that no explanation is needed.
There is no icons on desktop. This is the normal situation. But i usually use it for "provisional" files, until they are moved to their final place.
Well, i like it, and, i feel good with it. That's important, isn't it? :-)
That was all folks! :-)
