Hello,
I am currently using Arch + PulseAudio for my audio setup. Everything works greatly (speakers, bluetooth earbuds) but there is one thing that I cannot make work, whatever I try : my microphone.
I've seen a lot of fixes (I'll try the ones I can still remember) but nothing still. I am now doubting that my computer has a microphone since I did not try to use it in a while.
I have tried :
Uninstalling and reinstalling Pulse
Removing the files in .config/pulse
Restarting the pulse services
➜ ~ aplay -l

Sorry if I am missing something, this is my first post. Does anyone have an idea on where to check ?

Microphone you're plugging into a jack or something built-in?
What do you get from
arecord -lL
amixer -c0
pactl list cards
pactl list sources
#During a recording attempt
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
pactl list source-outputs
