Firefox 121 wayland mode on radeon driver, does anyone made it work?

Hello Guys and happy new year!
I would like to know if anyone managed to have "wayland mode" on firefox 121 "out of the box".
For what I understood my installation is still opening it in X11 mode:

about:version
Window Protocol: x11

my compositing looks fine:

Compositing: WebRender

I'm using Radeon HD5770 VGA with radeon display driver (not amdgpu since my card is not supported).

Let me know if you need more info
Thanks

For me it worked out of the box.
I'm running the Plasma 6 beta from kde-unstable and the `amdgpu` open-source kernel driver.
Kernel is 6.1.70-1-lts and GPU is the iGPU of the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G.

Unfortunately I can't use amdgpu with my card, so I am just wondering if it's a driver issue.

ah right, sorry, I missed the little nuance that you're using the older `radeon` driver

(well - at first I thought I'm using the same one, but then, on a second look I understood that nowdays for these gpus it's called amdgpu).

No, you just need to run X on that videocard instead of wayland .

Please start a new thread if you want help with that.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

but i'm running on X11 the driver is not loaded during startup so i need to use nomodeset, no maximum resolution 1920x1080 and no audio, so i'd try other distro no luck not working also. i'm planning to switch to linux but my old video card is not working properly, but fully working on latest build windows 10 ltsc 2021, maybe i think this gpu card is locked for windows.

Using nomodeset means losing almost all graphics capabilities, if the radeon kernel module isn't loaded automatically there's something wrong with your setup.

I've used an Radeon HD 4700 (approx 2 years older then the 5700) on a 1920x1200 screen until 2018 when I switched to a newer pc.

Start  a new thread, post xorg log, lspci- k , and the output of(run as root) journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st .
