Warnings starting Xorg

Hi guys,

Im quite new to linux, and trying to install X and get X running without error messages.

Theres are the warnings that i get.

(ww) fglrx: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:2:0:1) found.

Warning: Fauiled to open file(/usr/share/fluxbox/nls/en_US.UTF-8/fluxbox.cat) for translation, using default messages.

apps file failure

BScreen::BScreen: managing screen 0 using visual 0x23, depth 24

Not sure if the last one is and error aswell. but the apps file failure happens alot, if i keep my computer running for like 2 hours, i get a whole list of those, once i shut X down.

I hope that anyone can help me. Thanks alot!

Yaz

Re: Warnings starting Xorg

Some of those errors strike me as uncommon, but in general, the errors are ok. Gnome prints out loads of messages to the terminal you started x in, some of them are routine feature checks, some of them are notifications of disconnection from the x server or other applications, which apparently still happens if you log out of gnome normally, and I'm pretty sure that those are all nothing to worry about. In fact, I think that a completely error-free x log is very rare, and can only be found in very spartan setups.
