Audeze Maxwell Headphones mic not working (Plasma KDE)

My headphones mic doesn't work on my pc. I do know it does work but it stopped working and only worked once. Can someone please help me its a pain.

I use a usb dongle.

That answers one part while leaving the rest to the user, what about the other parts?

In any case post

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
arecord -lL
pactl list cards
pactl list sources
#During recording attempt
pactl list source-outputs

USB dongles are normally plug and play.

Unless the short response indicates that you solved it with a dongle, in which case please mark as [SOLVED] by editing the title in your first post.

I hope this isn't too much of a necro ... but for anyone else looking for similar info, the Maxwell headsets have had some recent issues that were resolved with firmware updates. You can do the updates from the Audeze HQ app - unfortunately not available on Linux natively. It is however available on iPhone, Android, Windows, and Mac.
