Hi, not sure if this is a stupid question, but I can't seem to explain why the internal microphone on my Dell Laptop always boosts to 100% (seen through `alsamixer`) when I connect my bluetooth headset. This of course makes the output entirely unusable.
I have tried with `sudo alsactl store`, which fixed it boosting every time on reboot, but connecting to bluetooth headset entirely negates that again...
Later on, i.e. not just after boot, if I turn the boost down, then connect the headset it stays, but boosts up again on disconnect resulting in wonderful feedback between the speaker and microphone if I'm in Monitor mode.
If the headset is connected by wire this issue doesn't arise, so I assume it's something with pipewire?
Any ideas what might be happening? (or anything else I can try/any more info I can provide)
EDIT: Yup, 'twas indeed a stupid question (can I delete these? I can't find where)
Turns out it was Discord being annoying and I just had to uncomment a line in `/etc/pipewire/pipewire-pulse.conf` so discord can no longer change boost level of microphones. This is so normal they even have it written in, just commented out...
I am incredibly sorry for having been a nuisance.

It might help someone else, so retain the post and just mark it as [SOLVED] by editing the title (might have to shorten it a bit)
