Hi everyone.
I use xfce for years. Now I frequently need some specific window size, according to media I need to record. Although I found there are some solutions how to change window size using some tools, I would like xfwm would show this to me. i have found that here is already support in xfwm as described in first post here:
[1] https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/-/issues/559
what was not possible though is configuration of this, and I found also that was solved recently, adding `/general/show/position` config option.
[2] https://gitlab.xfce.org/metux/xfwm4/-/c … a8bc7b79a4
But when trying to find the option it is not there. So it seems in arch we don't have this option at all! So according to [1] it seems that -DSHOW_POSITION option must be passed in build time.
But here I don't know how to continue, and check if this is the problem, and possibly try locally if it will work with it?
Thank for the help.

That's a personal fork, the xfwm4 code would be https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/-/bl … eads#L1225 and it looks like it's not runtime configurable - you'd have to rebuild xfwm4 w/ the definition in place.
