[SOLVED] Prefixes in source URLs

I'm new to Arch/AUR . I notice there are some prefixes in source URLs like "git+" or "<package-name>.tgz::" right before "http" or "https". I never knew this was a thing. I want to know what these prefixes even mean. Where can I get more information about this topic?
