I was attempting to create an account to talk about this page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Packag … er_drivers
Namely, the fact that the guide doesn't mention the need to symlink two important files so that print services can locate the printer drivers:
$ sudo ln -s /opt/brother/Printers/MFC8710DW/cupswrapper/brother-MFC-8710DW-cups-en.ppd /usr/share/cups/model
$ sudo ln -s /opt/brother/Printers/MFC8710DW/cupswrapper/brother_lpdwrapper_MFC8710DW /usr/lib/cups/filter
But the system tells me to contact an administrator because it thinks it's a account created via spam. But I can't seem to email administrators unless I have an account...
I could use a hand, thanks.

Your username triggered an overzealous spam filter. I have adjusted it so that it doesn't happen.
You should be able to register now.

This did the trick. Thank you very much!

Hi!
I also would like to create an account to edit this wiki page: Hyprland
The default file is /usr/share/hyprland/hyprland.conf and, after logging in for the first time, ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf.
That default file doesn't exist, but I can't create an account:
Block regular spam registration attempts
Thanks for your time!
