Using ArchLinux in a virtualbox without GUI mounting a usb drive

What I am trying to do is use ArchLinux in Virtualbox without GUI and get files from the host to it.
Every article I read says I need guest additions but refers me to having x server running . I don't want to install that.
Is there another way to do this?

I tried doing this but I still couldn't see the usb.

modprobe -a vboxguest vboxsf vboxvideo

doing lsblk only shows virtualbox guest drives sda1 and sda2

No, not the Arch Wiki, which points to: VirtualBox Guest userspace utilities without X support

I did install that.
Where does it explain how to use it?

The guest additions do provide shared folder possibilities, but not mounting usb devices.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
