Hi,
Can someone please point me at a place I can learn how to modify the hinting and sub-pixel hinting etc. under the new fontconfig. Better yet if you can supply explicit instructions on getting an LCD monitor optimized I would appreciate it. All the places I've researched expect to modify local.conf or ~/.fonts.conf and apparently these ar not recommended under version 2.4.2-1.
