Installed virtualbox-guest-iso using pacman , the window in still smal

Hello there,

New here,

I installed virtualbox-guest-iso as in here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Virtua … _Additions, I was asked not to mount anything https://unix.stackexchange.com/question … atest-arch here,

But its not scaling up, can someone help me out with my virtual machine problem ?

Re: Installed virtualbox-guest-iso using pacman , the window in still smal

What's your host system, what's your guest system? If Arch is the guest you don't need the ISO and can directly go for the guest-utils package: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Virtua … _Additions

If you're not using Arch as the guest, then you can mount the ISO at the location mentioned there virtualbox has a option for "inserting a CD" as an ISO image which you'd do then start the VM and then install the relevant guest-utils from there.

My host system is windows 11 and the guest system is Arch Linux (64 bit), there is an option under virtual machine devices to "Insert Guest Additions CD Image", but that does not seem to respond or work in anyway.

Have you installed the virtualbox-guest-utils package, as V1del suggested?
