I've noticed my Framework Laptop doesn't seem to wake up from suspend (lid closed then opened) properly when a VM is running. This might only be qemu VMs, as I have experienced this with quickemu and Android Studio.
To be specific, the machine does wake up, but my graphical session doesn't or something. I am able to switch to other terminals with the functions keys and access those text only sessions, but my previous graphical shell on F7 stays black.
